Ask Congress to Fund the National Asthma Control Program

The National Asthma Control Program (NACP) was created in 1999 to help reduce the impact of asthma in the United States. It has played an important role in lowering emergency room visits, spreading awareness, and giving healthcare providers better tools and training to care for people with asthma.

Due to recent changes in funding and staff reductions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), key programs like the NACP were halted.

We need to restore funding for this program as soon as possible to avoid gaps in asthma care and public health education.
